In 1993, Mr. Lavin formed Terrence J. Lavin & Associates. In the years since founding his own firm, Mr. Lavin has become recognized as a prominent lawyer in Illinois, by virtue of his trial results, his leadership in the Illinois State Bar Association and other organizations and his many published articles on civil trial practice. He also served as an adjunct professor of law at Chicago Kent for nine years, teaching a course in Medical Malpractice Law.
