In 1993, Mr. Lavin formed Terrence J. Lavin & Associates. In the years since founding his own firm, Mr. Lavin has become recognized as a prominent lawyer in Illinois, by virtue of his trial results, his leadership in the Illinois State Bar Association and other organizations and his many published articles on civil trial practice. He also served as an adjunct professor of law at Chicago Kent for nine years, teaching a course in Medical Malpractice Law.

J. Patrick White is an associate at Lavin Law Offices, P.C. in Chicago, Illinois. Raised in Evanston, Illinois, Mr. White attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, earning a degree in political science in 2001. Mr. White graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in January 2007 and is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Chicago Bar Association and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
